I think we've discussed this already. Honestly, this is a win for everyone. The only people who are upset are a few fanboys.
PS3 gamers win because Insomniac will continue to make PS3 exclusive and they still get to play their multiplat games as well.
Xbox gamers win because they get to experience a game with the quality of a world class developer like Insomniac.
And of course, Insomniac wins because they're going to be gaini...
That looks fun. :3
Insomniac is signed up for a one game partnership with EA and after it's over can easily go back to doing Ratchet and Resistance games if they want.
Bungie ditched Microsoft and signed a 10 year exclusive deal for multiple games with Activision of all companies. Sony and Insomniac are close but Bungie was Microsoft's bread and butter.
Either way, great news for all gamers.
"Recent news has stopping making..."
I stopped reading right there.
Anyone remember this gem from IGN about Bayonetta (360 version): "The 360 version is vastly superior to the PS3 version on a technical level, so PS3 owners 'fortunate' enough to own a 360 should absolutely avoid the PS3 copy."
How fortunate! Funny we don't see the same language about the PS3 version of Final Fantasy XIII over the 360 version.
And I know whine about fake conspiracy theories and whatever but seriously, you can see it for yourself. They'r...
lol
Don't have a problem with Microsoft having the first commercial, it just wasn't a very good commercial. That Leona Lewis song just doesn't fit like the original Jpaanese song and the scenes they showed during the ad were going to fast to be able to tell what's really going on. (Probably has more to do with youtube)
It just didn't feel epic at all which is what a Final Fantasy ad should feel like. Hope SE will come out with some better ads later on.
Link > Master Chief
Samus > Master Chief
Captain Falcon > Master Chief
Snake > Master Chief
and even though he's not a nintendo character:
Kratos > Master Chief
Average Gamer: "Where's the shooting? This sucks. :("
Me: Went and replayed Indigo Prophecy in anticipation of this game, and now I'm even more psyched after playing the demo. It's going to be a great game no matter what anyone else says. :)
Been a gamer since I was born (1985)
The best list I could come up with:
1. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
2. Shadow of the Colossus
3. Metal Gear Solid 3
4. Shenmue
5. Half-Life 2
6. GTA: SA
7. Super Mario World
8. Sonic 3
9. Final Fantasy IV
10. Prince of Persia: Sands of Time
Honorable Mentions:
Halo: Combat Evolved
Kingdom Hearts 2
Final Fantasy 12
Uncharted 2 ...
I'm looking forward to Golden Sun DS more than any other RPG next year. :)
Thank you, God. I can die happy now.
Definitely one of my favorite Zelda games of all time. It'd be second on my list just behind Ocarina of Time and above Link to the Past.
"Mcfarlane Joke's are pretty adult based and you have to know what happening to catch the jokes. It's sarcastic around today news and cultures. You have to be well informed to catch it.
King of the hills on the other hand is just poking fun on redneck cultures, and that's about it. It can grow pretty old fast, how much fun you can poke off rednecks."
Wow. I laughed hard at that comment. Family guy is the epitome of childish humor. Shows like King of th...
Things are really going to turn around now!
Never knew being in second place meant you had an "insurmountable lead".
Also, LOL @ the sources. A blogger is citing wikipedia as a source for his fact based analysis. I know everyone loves a good "numbers" fight but some of this stuff is ridiculous.
For Context, here's Destructoid's NG2 review for the Xbox 360:
"Fans of high-speed action titles can’t go wrong; in fact, they’d be foolish to look anywhere else for anything better this generation. It’s just disappointing that Ninja Gaiden II -- which is said to be the last in the series -- isn’t quite the flawless masterpiece I’d hoped for. But even if it doesn't set a new bar, at least it stands as a fine example of excellent, highly stylized, fast-paced fun.

Really, Turn 10? Really?! I can understand trying to support your game but these guys are delusional.
A "demo" has better graphics and a PSP game has more cars. Not to mention NFS: Shift holds it's own in some areas.
And people called Sony arrogant...
I dont think he's over doing it. He's does an hour long speech on education with one sentence about turning off the TV and Videogames so kids can study more and that's what people decide to focus on.
I wish I could be best buddies with Viacom. Microsoft continues to squeeze as much as they can out of that relationship. Ad of now, I just want to see some games. Anything besides the red ball.
